Nothing beats a Trane! My last system was a Trane and it performed great for 20 years. It was still working well when I had Zipf Air replace it with an updated system that has improved our air quality and our utility bills.
Zipf Air replaced furnace, a/c, and hot water heater at our house in late May 2012. Our power bills have dropped 20-30% already. House is much more comfortable and we never run out of hot water. We had estimates from 3 companies, two Trane and Carrier dealers, and Zipf was in the middle for the price but gave us the most options.
John Zipf treated our 50-year old house as its own unique challenge rather than just offering us several packages. He developed a system that works for our layout (story and a half with hot attic bedrooms). Fast, efficient, very neat technicians--all was done in less than two days, and everything works well. Work was done on time and no surprises. If John says the techs will be there at 7:30, you can expect the doorbell to ring at exactly that time.
